1924年，KIMMASUN金迈森由菲恩·茨迈尔曼（Fynn·Zimmermann）创立于德国巴伐利亚州东南部的小镇罗森海姆。在这个以木材工业著称的小镇，当时年轻的菲恩只是千万个木材加工坊主中的一个，凭借着对家居木制品的一腔热情和过硬的技术，经过几年时间，菲恩的木材加工坊在当地就已经小有名气，并由此创立了“金迈森家具公司”。在德语里，“金迈森”是“高品质迈向永恒”的寓意。
In 1924, KIMMASUN was founded by Fynn·Zimmermann in Rosenheim, a small town in southeastern Bavaria, Germany. In this small town which known for its timber industry, the young Fynn only was one of thousands of wood-processing workshop owners, after a few years ,with a passion for household wood products and excellent skills , Fynn’s wood-processing workshop was already known locally and has led to the founding of the KIMMASUN Furniture Company. In German, " KIMMASUN " is the moral of "high quality towards eternity".

In thefollowing decades, Fynn’s " KIMMASUN Furniture Company" came from a small furniture company that made mostly tables and chairs, gradually developing into a home brand covering the whole line of products with design and production as a whole.
